ROUTE 110 REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FEATURED AT LARGEST-EVER LONG ISLAND TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL

Farmingdale, NY – Route 110 Redevelopment Corporation, in its effort to enhance the future development of the Route 110 Corridor on Long Island, was a featured exhibitor at the recently staged TechFest: The Long Island Technology Festival at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. TechFest was the largest technology festival ever held on Long Island.

Billed as a “lifestyle festival” providing a showcase for local businesses and their innovative achievements, TechFest crossed the entire technology spectrum to present technology in an entertaining and educational forum.

Representing Long Island’s largest technology thoroughfare, Route 110 Redevelopment Corporation was a key participant at TechFest. The Route 110 Corridor is home to nearly 20% of the Suffolk County workforce and also boasts premiere office space, fine hotels, educational institutions, research facilities, and an outstanding selection of family friendly entertainment.

“As an organization designed to attract and retain environmentally friendly, High-tech and Biotech firms that increase employment and positively effect our local economy, it was a natural for us to be a part of TechFest,” remarked Donald J. TechFest featured several pavilions consisting of an array of educational, informative, and interactive exhibits from many leading local institutions and up-and-coming Long Island enterprisers. Pavilions spotlighted engineering, biotech, life sciences, software, information technology and the Internet.
