L.I. REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR CARPENTERS UNION ALAN J. EHL NAMED TO ROUTE 110 REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Farmingdale, NY – Alan J. Ehl, Regional Director for Long Island for the Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters has been added to the Board of Directors of the Route 110 Redevelopment Corporation, it was announced by the organization’s Executive Director Donald J. Middleton.

With close to thirty years of experience in the field and one of only four union regional directors in all of New York State, Ehl oversees and protects the rights of all carpenters on Long Island. Ehl’s new role with the board will be to provide expertise in the areas of construction and development along the Route 110 corridor.

“Alan Ehl will undoubtedly be an asset to our board and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to tap into his wealth of experience,” remarked Donald J. Middleton, Executive Director for the Route 110 Redevelopment Corp.

A lifelong resident of Long Island and currently living in Middle Island, Alan Ehl has managed such high visibility union projects as the Flight 800 Memorial, the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial and the 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park. He is also an Executive Member of the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts.
